I drove back immediately to garage where they scanned it and came up with error codes 60 - temporary throttle sticking - and 61 -permanent throttle sticking. The car ran fine and everything checked out ok. This car came in with the the engine failsafe program activated surging idle no power. Please have the system inspected by your BMW center.
